Underbelly Project

The point of the "underbelly project" was to create an artist book or zine on something we enjoyed drawing that could be linked to Birmingham.
I started looking at burlesque dancers, events in Birmingham, pin-ups, clothing, steampunk style, poses etc.

 

These are kind of what the final pages will look like...what I need to do is draw a lot more then pick out the ones I prefer, work a lot on details. So a lot to do, but at least I have a pretty good idea of what the final product will look like. I had found a font I really like, and might see if it looks good somewhere, but at least the cover will probably be all black, no writing at all, maybe a bit on an image.
